Colchester U-9 Soccer
After suffering their first loss of the season 1 - 0 in a hard-fought game with a physical and aggressive Salem U-10 team, the "Colchester United" U-9 Boys had something to prove. Scoring three goals in the first three minutes of play, "Colchester United" defeated an outmatched squad from East Lyme 7 - 0.
Relentless pursuit by defensive backs; Hayden Couture, Matt Lund, and Matt Thoms, denied their opponent any shots on goal throughout the entire match.
Offensively, the precision passing of the forward line led to goals and assists by L.J. Luster, Trevor Bis, Patrick Egan and Chase Griffin.
Further strong contributions in the 7-0 shutout were made by Dan Kaminski, Leo Francoeur, and Jarred Guerra, as they controlled the tempo and continually pushed the game up field.
