Colchester U-9 Soccer
In their first time playing together the "Colchester United" U-9 boys travel soccer team began their season with a successful tournament in Enfield, CT placing 2nd in the U-9 division.
Plenty of scoring highlighted the tournament action, as Patrick Egan, Trevor Bis, L.J. Luster and Jarred Guerra powered their teams winning efforts.
They continued their success the following weekend with a 1 - 0 victory over Groton, CT. Both Chase Griffin and Ethan Reever shared the shutout in net. Matthew Thoms and Matthew Lund were part of a effective defense which limited their opponent to fewer than 9 shots on goal.
